Wet Rally Whangarei beckons for Brendo

Brendo and Rhianon have completed their Shakedown for this weekend's Rally Whangarei and are looking forward to the event.  Whilst the weather forecast for the weekend is for rain, Brendo is not too concerned, as being car 6 on the road the road shouldn't be too chopped up.

With the experience he has gained from competing in Rally Whangarei for the past two years, Brendo is quite familiar with the Northland roads and is eager to get back out on the gravel.  He has shown in the past two events that he has the speed to match it with every driver, and is hoping for a trouble-free run this weekend.

"I am really looking forward to competing again this weekend," Brendo said.  "I really enjoy the roads in New Zealand and I'm looking forward to driving on our new Pirelli tyres. The morning is going to be quite cold so we will have to see what happens then as to what compound we choose, but it should be a great event."

Rally Whangarei kicks off tonight with the ceremonial start, with the rally proper getting underway tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
