Great start for Brendo at Rally New Caledonia

Brendo and Rhianon have made a fantastic start to Rally New Caledonia, finishing Leg 1 in second place, just three seconds behind Rifat Sungkar.

The first day of competition consisted of four stages. SS1 was a 2.5 kilometre gravel stage along the coastline and SS2 a very technical autocross track of 3.1 kilometres.  Both stages were then repeated.

Brendo used old tyres for the four stages, saving his new tyres for Saturday, but still managed to win SS4, and is really looking forward to Leg 2.
