Brendan secures drive at RACC Rally Spain

PDFPrintE-mail

Brendan Reeves has secured a deal to drive an M-Sport Ford Fiesta R2 1000cc in the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy series at this year’s Rally RACC in Spain.  Brendan has chosen to forego receiving any points so as not to ruin the chances of other drivers contesting the championship, but will be racing for the chance to qualify for the ‘Vatanen Touch’. This is an end of season shootout, at which the winner will land a one-off drive in a Ford Fiesta R5 on a 2016 World Rally Championship (WRC) event.

Brendan will be co-driven by his sister, Rhianon Gelsomino, when they make their return to the WRC. With them they bring two years experience competing in the WRC after previously competing in the Junior WRC in 2011 and 2012 as well as multiple years experience in both Australian and America. Brendan has also previously had the chance to drive the M-Sport Ford Fiesta R2 1000cc on gravel when he debuted the car in the Rally America Series earlier this year.

Brendan and Rhianon are looking for support to make this happen and as such can offer supporters the chance to ‘ride along’ with them by offering bonnet names, roof names and 15cm x 15cm logos on the side panels of the car for the event.

Brendan and Rhianon will also be running multiple auctions over the coming weeks on their Facebook pages. They have a race suit signed by Alex Gelsomino from his 2012 season with Ken Block, a Citroen Jacket signed by Sebastien Loeb, Daniel Elena, Sebastian Ogier and Julien Ingrassia, many collectible model cars, 2015 Rally Australia signed merchandise and much more.
