Brendan excited about rally return

Brendan Reeves will make his long-awaited return to rallying this weekend when he contests the Western Victoria Crane Trucks Valley Stages rally.

After winning Two Wheel Drive in the event in the past two years, a hat-trick of wins would be the perfect welcome back to competition after a long layoff due to Covid-19.

The one day event, based out of Yarra Glen, an hour from Melbourne’s CDB, will be held on Sunday, 29 November.  Consisting of around 150 kilometres of competitive stages, the rally will be similar to last year’s event with just one new stage added this year.

Whilst there have been no rallies in which to compete, Brendan has been honing his driving skills during the forced layoff at the test track on his family property.

He’ll be joined for the Valley Stages by experienced co-driver, Kate Catford, and the pair will compete in the Truline Commercial V8 Commodore, the same car that he took 2WD honours in 2018.

The event will kick off at 9am from the Yarra Glen Race Course, with the first competitors expected to finish by 4pm after contesting ten stages.
