Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have had a tough introduction to rallying in New Zealand’s South Island. Rally South Canterbury, round 4 of the New Zealand Rally Championship, served up a difficult rally with tricky road conditions for the pair who were competing in the South Island for the first time.
This weekend will see the long-awaited return to competition of Brendan Reeves when he contests round 4 of the New Zealand Rally Championship (NZRC), Rally South Canterbury.
Brendan Reeves will be behind the wheel of a different beast in September when he contests the Western Victorian Crane Truck Yarra Valley Stages Rally in a V8 Commodore.
Brendan Reeves will make his long-awaited return to competition later this month when he contests Rally South Canterbury, round 4 of the New Zealand Rally Championship (NZRC).
Despite not seeing any competitive action so far this year, Brendan has still been heavily involved in rallying behind the scenes.
For the past 12 months Brendan Reeves has been working with Hyundai Australia in the development of the Hyundai i30 N which was officially launched in Australia last week.
Although he only competed in three rallies this year, 2017 has been a positive one for Brendan Reeves with plenty of time in the driver’s seat.
It was a disappointing day for Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino at Kennards Hire Rally Australia with the pair forced to retire from the event after they rolled their Force Motorsport Mazda2 AP4.
Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have had a positive start to Kennards Hire Rally Australia, finishing the day as the highest placed Australians and in 13th position overall.
